I'm sorry, what was that again?

We had a teach back yesterday as we were being certified for VA training. One of the topics were adverbs - little buggers that crawl up your nose and stay there to annoy you until you die.

One of the guys asked us to give out an example of verbs - the kicker however was that we had to say the sound that usually accompanies that verb. These words would then be changed into their -ING form. And so he writes...

"Bang! Great! The -ING form would be Banging"

"Splash! The -ING form would be Splashing!"

"Pak! Wonderful! The -ING form would be Paking!"

There was silence then he blushed a deep maroon (maitim eh) and then everyone started laughing.

It was one of those days where Murphy's law was prevalent.

"Do you ride a taxi or a limusen?" (limousine)
"Are you sure it's supeeshent?" (Sufficient)
"Do you want to get fedbucks now?" (feedback at di kamaganak ni starbucks)
"Talk to your sufer..soferbi..boss" (Parang where did you bah..where did you bough... saan mo binili yan?)
"We need your komeetment" (commitment)
"No, I didn't! Deed I?" (Did)

Makes me want to curl up and die.
