Truth be told, I'm not a Charise Pempengco fan. Personally, I do not appreciate that much belting on any day, with or without medication.
I am however proud of Arnel Pineda, Journey's new front man.
Pinoys are good mimics - Look at Lani Misalucha. But, it does take real talent to copy these established artists' voices! It provides them with an opportunity to be seen and be given an opportunity. The rest is up to them.
I guess it just shows that dreams can come true no matter how old you are. Kinda gives hope to people like me who feel that the train has left the station.

I love the commercials here in the US. There's one in particular that I've been touched by: What gets me every time I see it, aside from the visuals, is the song. I've recently discovered that it is by an artist named Landon Pigg and the song is "Coffee Shop".
Check out his myspace site and listen to his songs. Trust me, not bad for a guy with Pigg as a last name. His songs remind me of Kashmir - haunting, poignant and present.
