I'm not perfect and that's the way I like it.

Why do people strive for perfection? Perfection is so unforgiving - those who deem themselves as perfect suffer to maintain that level of perfection and torment themselves if they falter or go below the bar even for a fraction of an inch.
We tend to easily forgive the imperfect ones; to shrug and say "They'll get it right next time." Second chances are given to them, as well as a clap on the back, a sincere encouraging smile and hope on a silver platter. Between that and perfection, I'd rather have hope and a smile.
Don't aim for perfection. Instead, aim to be true.
