Creepy

Wow.
I thought it would take a whole lot to shock me, but I'm apparently shocked with this one.
A father of a 15 year old boy created this exhibit. One particular image is Bugs Bunny wielding a .45 and blowing Daffy Duck's brain to smithereens.
I'd not be bothered because Looney Tunes had always been violent. But it was violent-funny. Bugs would shoot Daffy and his precious little duck bill would go all over his face. It was hilarious! And I guess the reason for the hilarity is because it was a representation of what is virtually impossible.

Then again, we already have cartoons that show this kind of brutality and gore. Happy tree friends, Ren and Stimpy, and The CN Adult swim characters as well.
I guess what shocked me is that they would actually use these characters and transform them into a modern day violent meaningless 2 dimensional creatures. Plus the dad did this to connect with his son. Hah.
These cartoon characters are icons for our generation. It's sanctified and supposedly untouchable. You know, it's like thinking your 15 year old daughter is still a virgin and will remain a virgin until she gets married. It's wishful thinking and probably a well crafted lie but the thought that no one's contesting it nor arguing with it makes it all better. You're happy with your disillusion. (Orgasmic ignorance)
They crossed a line. Warner Bros should sue.
