I've been a very loyal Globe customer for more than five years now. I remember because I got the plan when my daughter was about a year old. I've paid the bills on time and I've made sure to promote their latest promos with my friends - the latest being Super DUO. Lately though, I've been given nothing but headaches by Globe.
For the past 5 years, my bills have always stated MR. VICTOR. Every year, like freaking clockwork, I send them a copy of my birth certificate and my passport just to prove I'm a girl. It's been 5 years now and still NOTHING! I'm still a freaking Mister! It doesn't matter that I personally wrote MRS. on the title category in the application form. I specifically told them that even though I have a man's name, they shouldn't assume I'm anything but. The first time I got the bill, they said it was an oversight and it was their mistake. Hello?!?! It's been five freaking years! CHANGE MY GODDAMN TITLE!!! How hard could it be? I mean, you guys have a record of my calls right? I have been calling and calling and calling and complaining about it but you just won't freaking DO IT! It's as easy as a click of a button! Jesus Christ! Do you get a thrill in receiving copies of my legal documents? Seriously? Just laminate the damn papers and keep a copy in every lobby of every office you've got, if that makes your eyes roll back in bliss.
Your customer service sucks like a cheap whore from Makati Avenue. I downgraded my plan because I wasn't using it as much at that time. I signed up for DUO instead. So, I was expecting a lower bill but no... I got my bill and it showed 7k. SEVEN THOUSAND PESOS?!?! My previous bills max were about 3k only! How the hell did I get a 7k bill? I called up Globe CS and they told me that the reason I got a 7k bill was because I signed up for this data plan. Are you freaking nuts??? Why would I downgrade my plan only to upgrade it to a very expensive data plan?!?! Ano yan?! "Gusto ko kasing magtipid kaya di na ako kakain sa McDo. Sa Shangrila na lang." Honestly! Sana gumamit ng konting logical thinking, di ba?
What is up with your signal as well? I understand you're upgrading your system but seriously, I receive text messages 2 days late. Two days! Aba, kung ang text pala sa akin eh naghihingalo na yung tao, pagka kuha ko ng text eh burol na pala ang pupuntahan ko. Putol putol ang signal niyo.
Don't get me started with your broadband internet. Well, in fairness, maganda ang Tattoo - para sa mga taong mahaba ang pasensya. Sana nag dial up na lang ako - or better yet, nag smoke signals na lang.
So, kinumbinse ako ng kaibigan ko na wag nang umalis ng Globe. He said that you're eligible for free phones and rewards and other chuchu. Napaisip ako at nahimasmasan. Oo nga naman. Last time I got a SEk800i that I absolutely love (kahit na luma na sya, I still love it) So, I called up Globe ulit just to check kung may promos or freebies nga. Well, let's just say I'm really switching to Smart. Got another CSR na walang human connection na parang iritang irita pang kausap ako.
Ako: I just wanted to know if there are any rewards that I can get for staying with Globe for a long time now. I was planning on switching to your competitor but I was convinced to stay.
CSR: Ah...sa ngayon po may rebate kayo na available. (boses bored na irita) 260 pesos for 24 months
Ako: (medyo irita na rin) Would you have any promos on new phones? Kahit ma tie up ako sa inyo for another 24 months.
CSR: Wala po eh. Sa ngayon rebate lang po. 260 pesos for 24 months. (parang SM saleslady)
Ako: (iritang irita na) Fine. That just solidified my move.
CSR: Pasensya na po ha?
