I'm going on a self imposed virtual world exile.
No Facebook, no blogging, no celebrity websites and no Twittering.
I've been blurring the lines between real life and the virtual world and it's not healthy anymore.
I need to do real things with real people, even if they'll eventually think I'm some spastic freak of nature. It felt safe in the virtual world, it felt good to be hidden behind the monitor screen and pseudonyms. It's not healthy anymore though if I spend an insane amount of time waiting for a message from someone who doesn't even know I exist or doesn't care. It's cruel and I won't subject myself to that kind of torture. That's just two clowns short of a freaking circus. Besides, I'm better than that.
So, I'm taking my chances out there. I'll go out, flirt, strike up a conversation, have coffee, dance and have real fun. If it turns out that real life sucks more lemons than the virtual world, then I'll have to resign myself to the fact that I'm going to be the biggest anti-social bitch in the world...well, outside of my family and very small circle of friends (FB and RL friends)
So, if you want to contact me, it's either going to be through phone calls, texts or emails.
For now, you can be assured that hell has frozen over...until further notice.
