Words on transparent wings
She always kisses as if it was her first time, as though she's never known his kiss before. He kisses like it's their last, like she's teetering on the edge of leaving and sometimes, he thinks he's still waiting for the day she'll decide to walk away. She told him that she won't leave; promised him over and over again. He knows and he wishes that she will, if only to get the pain of losing her into tangibility.
Thinking it would happen, hoping it won't and seeing it happen are all different things. They both want this push and pull to end soon. While it's still going on, all they can do is kiss.
