KC will hate me again. I found this dress for
Php150 and it's a pretty decent dress, the orange isn't bordering on eye rape and it fit me right. All I had to do was change the buttons and viola! A new sweet dress for Sunday Brunch or PTA meetings.

I really liked the original buttons but I couldn't find any similar buttons, seeing that the dress is "Vintage". I wish there were button makers here in Manila.

Now, these shades are both a work of art and a very cheap knock off.
Delifna Delettrez, the daughter of Silvia
Fendi, teamed up with Parisian Alain
Mikli to design a collection of couture
eye wear aptly named "
créateur de lunettes".

They put all sorts of creepy crawlies on the shades. It's pretty funky and cool but you won't think that when you see the price.

The original costs 665 Euros or roughly $925. That's about
Php 50k. I sure ain't paying 50 grand for a pair of shades!

These babies however cost me 100 pesos each. The acrylic paint was 50 pesos a bottle and the shades are from
Divi Park over at
Southmall costing 50 pesos too. The creepy bugs, I stole from my boys' overflowing
toy box. Not bad, eh?

Now, I'm starting to grow my hair out. The best weapon for any bad hair day is to have awesome head gear. I'm not about to hide under a cap or a ginormous hat, so I'm currently (slightly) obsessing over head dresses and headbands.

A couple of plastic headbands, a couple of hours, a couple of ideas thrown by my gorgeous model, feathers, appliques and rhinestones and there you go.

For the record, she kept this one. Couldn't pry it off her fingers even if I used a vice or pliers.

Then, I breathed new life into my old pumps by gluing the leftover rhinestones on their heels.
All in all, it was a creatively productive day.

Except for the shoes and the flower headband, if the other stuff make you happy, send me an email and I'll give it to you - free of charge. I promise. First dibs go to my Gutter Girls though...
