"What's your birthday wish?" She asked. She truly was curious. It wasn't about implying something else, I mean she didn't know me from Eve.
I couldn't reply - not because I didn't have a wish but because I stopped believing in wishes a long time ago. Wishes are cruel because they give you hope. Hope is cruel because it makes you believe in things even if there's nothing left to believe in.
"I don't have one." I replied. "But if I did. I'd wish that wishes can come true for those who'd need them."
