Supernatural Season 4 Episode 8 - Wishful Thinking

In a town where almost all wishes made on a wishing well comes true, what else can you expect?

Definitely chaos.

***

Remember that phrase, "Be careful what you wish for?" Why can't we get what we want in life? Why can't we just have what we want? Because life would be boring. Of course, if a Tiamat (which was a dragon in Dungeons and Dragons, heheheh) is involved, you're sure that there is some sort of trickery involved.

I don't want to be too spoilery but there are a lot of hilarious scenes here, especially that freaking teddy bear. It's like Woody Allen but with more fur.

Is Dean turning into an alcoholic? He needs to lay off the lapad. (That flat flask - we call it lapad here in the Philippines) How does he function with that much liquor in him? He shouldn't have anything flammable near him them, nor should he take up smoking anytime soon. (Speaking of smoking, I haven't smoked for two days now. It's KILLING me! Hubby hid all my ciggies)

I think the last scene should make things a little even for both of the remaining Winchesters. Sammy can't explain to Dean why he had to use his powers during the 4 months that he was gone. Dean can't explain to Sam why he can't talk about what happened to him in hell. That should be an even playing field. Shouldn't that make them closer? Or at least sympathetic to each other's plight?

Kripe says that episode 10 is the one to watch out for. Says it'll explain a lot of things.

Yeah? You think it'll explain why you won't go for a 6th season?

Teddy bear doctors – now that’s a cover I never expected the Winchesters to use. But I guess desperate times call for desperate measures. :-) I’m just glad that we didn’t learn that “teddy” was one of Lilith’s minions.

Seriously, I love how this show makes me laugh and cry in the same episode. The brother moments are always so heart felt.

I’m not sure I had a favorite line this episode, but there were some good ones. However, I loved that Dean lifted a bottle of booze when they checked out the break in at the liquor store.

I liked the scene where they sat down at the bench just outside the liquor store. They were both puzzled and they just couldn't fathom what the heck happened with that scene.

I'm so excited about the next two eppys. Thursday can't come too soon for me. :)
