I'd rather be facing some demon out there or something supernatural than to face human beings. I think people have no purpose in this world but to destroy themselves and everything that surrounds them. I'm rather embarrassed that I'm human.
Think about it, we are the only creatures that push ourselves to excess. We are too fat, too thin, too drunk, too this and too that! Even pigs have their shame and know when to stop. Animals don't get more than they need. We have the need to have more, be more, do more and take more. We destroy forests to have more than one home. We destroy rivers and seas to have more fish and to have more places to spew our toxic waste. We destroy lives to have more recognition and position.
Humans have this need to kill. They want to kill because it serves their purpose. They kill not to protect themselves (but fuck knows they use it as an excuse all the time), they kill because it makes them feel powerful.
Trust me, I'd rather be dealing with goblins, aswangs, kapres, tikbalangs, demons, demi-gods or even Satanielle herself than to deal with humans. The only tolerable humans in my life are in my family - and mind you, not all of them are tolerable.
