That's not cool...in any culture
The reason why I have issues with foreigners is that they have the intrinsic capacity to be perfect and effective assholes. A majority of them would fall under the category of self centered, narcissistic, megalomaniac, selfish and insensitive.
When we have foreign guests over, we try to show them our culture - the history, the triumph over oppression, the overcoming of natural and man made disasters, the general feeling of positivity and genuine happiness.
What you show us in terms of hospitality, it is in excess of what you have. When Filipinos show you guys hospitality, it's because we made do of what we have and we've decided to give you the best and we'll just suffer on later. That does not give you the right to walk all over us and abuse it.
We try to impress you with whatever we have. The least you can do is appreciate the effort. If you don't like it, then go back to your country. We've already asked you to leave before, you just keep on coming back.
