This is what you call education?
I hosted this debut last night in Villa Immaculada - very beautiful place, by the way. I really love it there. However, the real story revolved around the kids.
The theme was Phantom of the Opera - so, syempre, mejo sosyal ito, di ba? I tried my best to keep my jologs alter ego deeply buried in the recesses of my digestive system. That was not successful at all.
During the 18 roses, the boys just kept on leaving the debutant in the middle of the floor, the moment I call on someone else's name. I got pissed off the third time it happened so I literally screamed at the boy - "Don't you dare leave her alone before the next guy comes in. I swear to God, I don't care if your parents are here watching you and taking pleasant snippets of this moment, I will slice off your balls if you leave her without a dancing partner, you hear?!" Of course all of that was in the vernacular and sounded more scary and funny. I wanted to call the parents and say "Hey! did you actually think this was how a gentleman should act?! You should be ashamed of yourselves!!"
Then, there was that 18 candles thing - you know, girls say their wishes and the debutant gets to blow out 18 candles. Hay... I had an aneurysm. I just wanted alcohol to seep into my brain and render me ignorant.
"Hi (name of debutant)! Hapi bertdei! I weesh you a happiness in layp. I weesh you get to be a boypren now tat you are a gurl." Let's dissect that for just a moment...
