I'm currently sitting at the Pilyoz' booth in megatrade hall. There's an internet convention of some sort - online gaming, computers, gadgets and more.
Now I know where all the weirdos are.
They're really into this shit. They come in costume and with matching "weapons". Define anime ito. Ask and they're wearing it. Red, purple and blue hair, large swords, chains, make up, sailor moon costumes, yun na!
In a way, nakakatuwa sila. The effort they put into these costumes. The fact that they will be subject to abject humiliation doesn't seem to deter them. In fairness - mega effort ito.
But in a broader spectrum - parang ang aga naman ata ng halloween.
