Nine
When you type nine in wikipedia, it gives you a lot of information. I was hit by an inspiration when I realized that most of my stories have nine chapters, finished or unfinished. I never reach 10, thinking that there will be some form of finality to it if and when I do. Here are a few things about the number nine:
- Norse mythology has a tree of life that has nine roots, representing the nine planes of existence. Each plane has an equal and opposite partner - heaven, hell, light, dark, Creation and destruction. The ninth plane is what balances it all - the plane of the humans, also known as middle earth.
- Even though Feng Shui will tell you that the number 8 is lucky, Chinese really believe that the number 9 is the true lucky number. There are 9 Chinese dragons and dragons, according to Chinese superstition, are the most powerful creature on earth.
- In Egyptian culture, it is said that a person must earn the right to go to the afterlife. When a person dies, he is judged by the weight of his heart and the deeds he as done whilst he was alive. My pseudonyms come from the Muses.
- The ninth astrological sign of the Zodiac is Sagittarius, identified by the Greeks as a centaur. Centaurs are magical creatures known for their skills as archers, philosophers, and predictors of the future. This is my zodiac sign, by the way.

My ninth boyfriend became my husband. (Chris, the pretty one, Santiago, the guitarist who was violent, the frenchie, the dead guy, habababachizsnax, parumpapumpum and married my hubby)
I was nine years old when I told myself that I'm now grown up. And I was and I did. It was at that age that my dad left for the US, with another woman.
I was nineteen when I celebrated my debut. It was also at that age that I became estranged from my father.
It would be ten years later, at twenty nine that I became reunited and reconciled with him. And I met my brother on January 19. He was three.
I can't wait until I turn 39.
