The advertisements you see on tv and billboards will tell you that you can have it all. They claim that a mom can be a great wife, an excellent cook, a devoted mom and a career woman - you can have it all.
You can't have it all. That's plain ass bullcrap. The best moms and career women never had it all. People can never have it all because they can never have enough. Satisfaction is a concept that will never be. People can never be satisfied.

So, now that we know that we can't have it all, what do we do?
You work with what you've got.
What you've got does not necessarily mean that what you've got are lemons. Perception and perspective is the key. You've got to look at it in different angles before you pass judgement.

I'm so thankful and grateful for the life that I've got. I have a wonderful husband who loves me. I have three beautiful and healthy children who get fed with anything and everything that they want and need. They've got money in the bank and clothes in their drawers. They're loved and cared for by people who truly love them. I have a mother who took care of me and provided me with such extravagance that I took for granted. I've got a job that pays well - that makes it possible for me to eat at restaurants with the most juicy steak every now and then.
It kinda makes me feel overwhelmed and guilty though. I mean, I wish everyone can have this life. I wish every child can be given the same care, love and attention my children are getting.
Got to do something about this.
